The Nikkormat FT is a 35mm single-lens reflex camera produced from 1965 to 1967, and is the 'little sister' to the professional Nikon F.
The FT is designed for amateur use. It doesn't have an interchangeable pentaprism like the F, but it can also mount all Nikkor lenses.
Shutter speeds range from 1 second to 1/1000 plus B mode and are adjusted by a barrel on the lens mount ring, rather than on the top cap.
The exposure meter is of the center-weighted type, with a needle that indicates over-, under-exposure and correct exposure.
